Each product you order will be designed and created with love and care. Messy Jess Custom Designs are hand crafted goods that are each unique in their production process and their outcome, therefore there are no two items that will be 100% the same even when they have the same design. We use what we feel are high quality craft supplies to design our products. This ensures a quality product and also means our products are safe for personal use in your home and ours. Product safety is very important to us here because we care about our customers wellbeing the same way we care for our own. We will never use supplies in your products that we wouldn't deem safe for use by our own children. If you ever have questions about what has been used in your specific product all you need to do is ask us. We will gladly make a list of supplies used for you. We know communication with our customers is the key to creating products you truly want and love. Hey, I'm Jess, curator of all things happening here at Messy Jess Custom Designs. I'm wife to my amazing hubbs of 10 years who has supported me through an even longer journey of self discovery. Together we have 3 tiny humans who are crazy, hilarious, and incredibly intelligent. They are pretty much to credit for the start of what has evolved into Messy Jess Custom Designs. Wanting to stay home with them, and not have to worry about calling in to work because I can't find a sitter or because I have a sick kid (because let's face it, these things happen with little ones), not wanting to miss watching them grow up, and still being able to contribute to our family financially, has pushed me to take crafting (something I have always really enjoyed) and turn it into a business.
When I began working with resin I fell in love pretty quickly. The therapeutic effect instantly had me wanting to work with it more and more and now here I am designing individual products for other humans to enjoy, getting to spend time with my family, and looking forward to watching this amazing little company grow. I never understood the saying "Love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life" until now, but it is so true.
I've recently enrolled in cosmetology school to learn a new art skill that I can do from home and to help bring more joy to others. I am a wellness advocate for Doterra, which is the brand of essential oils I use in any of our scented products so you know you are getting something safe for you. I also recently became a licensed insurance agent in the state of Oklahoma where our business is based. 2020 nearly threw us under and had us ready to quit our new company but I am happy to say we made it through and are ready to thrive. I love interacting with anyone who supports us, either buy making a purchase or even just by sharing or liking our content on tiktok, insta, or fb.
